Danger High Voltage is a modern love story set at the annual Electric Picnic Festival in Stradbally. The film was shot on HD at the festival over three days in September 2007, with a pick-up day in January 2008.

Madhouse Films is a film production company based in Dublin. Madhouse Films was established by Luke McManus in 2007 primarily as a vehicle for creative fictional projects.
Luke is also available for freelance work as a director and producer. His televison credits include four series of Room To Improve (RTE 1), Ireland's Top Teens (TV3), No Place Like Home (RTE 2), The Million Dollar Deal (RTE 1), a True Lives documentary on pro poker players and the IFTA winning documentary series, Sampler.

LUKE MCMANUS TO ATTEND EDINBURGH FILM FESTIVAL SCREENING OF "IF WE DEAD AWAKEN"
If We Dead Awaken, the Channel 4 film directed by Luke McManus starring Stanley Townsend, Branko Djuric and Ingeborga Daipkunaite will screen at the Edinburgh Film Festival on Wednesday 27th of June. The director will attend the screening and panel discussion afterwards.

LUKE MCMANUS SELECTED FOR CHANNEL 4'S COMING UP SCHEME
Luke McManus has been selected from over 300 entrants to be part of Channel 4's Coming Up scheme. He will be directing a one-off tv drama for Touchpaper TV in the New Year for broadcast in Autumn 2012. Luke qualified through a workshop session as one of seven directors selected from a final pool of 14.
MADE IN TEMPLE BAR GETS POST AND NEW TITLE - "THE OPENING"
The film formerly know as Made In Temple Bar has a new title - The Opening, and is currently by mixed by the redoubtable John Williams in Reelgood and graded by Scott Fairweather in Big Red Engine (thank you chaps). The film will be online at 4pm.
