Monarch of Toydaria
The sovereign ruler of the Toydarians, King Katuunko valued honesty above all else. He was chiefly concerned with protecting his people from the ravages of the Clone Wars, and was hesitant to ally himself to either the Republic or Separatist factions. After Master Yoda impressed Katuunko with a display of Jedi character, Katuunko committed his world to support the Republic.

Relationships
Yoda
King Katuunko was especially curious to meet a Jedi Master for a diplomatic mission. When the Separatists turned the parley into a combat exercise, Katuunko demanded that Yoda be given a fair chance.
Asajj Ventress
Asajj Ventress was tasked by Count Dooku to acquire King Katuunko's loyalty -- by threat if necessary. Though she attempted to attack the king with her lightsabers, Yoda stopped her with a minimum of effort.
Rugosa
Wary of bringing the Clone Wars to his doorstep, King Katuunko requested that the diplomatic meeting with the Republic be held on Rugosa, a neutral moon covered with coral.
Count Dooku
Count Dooku never forgave Katuunko for siding with the Republic. Doing away with any illusions of diplomacy, the Separatist leader targeted the Toydarian for capture.
Savage Opress
Dooku dispatched Savage Opress to capture King Katuunko, in hopes of forcing the Toydarian regent to ally with the Separatists. The brutal Savage ended up killing Katuunko while attempting to escape with the king and fending off two Jedi Knights.
