Giant sandstorm caught on camera in Western Australia

Help

A giant cloud of red dust whipped up by weather conditions and strong winds in Western Australia has been caught on camera.

Weather enthusiast Steve Brooks from Perth told the BBC that this cloud "was not related to the Narelle cyclone", which forecasters said was due to hit the area on Friday.

He said: "Thunderstorms happen most afternoons around this area across the Pilbara in Western Australia due to the extreme heat and instability in the atmosphere".
