Had a great time this weekend shooting a bit part, in Ben Alpi’s Indi western, “Cowboy Creed”. Thanks Ben!

Unless I’m mistaken, that’s Anthony deLongis with you there isn’t it?
Is this the Western Thell Reed talked about getting you in?
Are you using your Colts and did Thell manage to round off the hammers so you don’t catch your thumbs any more?
How did your get together with Thell go; I’d love to know as he struck me as a true gentleman.
One last question, when’s Cowboy Creed out in the UK?
Good eye, Barrie! Color me impressed!
Just for the record, he spells his surname: De Longis
Was a fun day! Thanks fer havin’ me along, pardner! Gitty-up, High Tower!

The people of Last Chance lived an awful plight
Black Bart and his gang had moved in over night.
He was nasty, evil, and cruel as can be
His gang answered to no one, no one but he.
Then one day, a man with a badge of power
Rode into this place on his trusty steed High Tower.
The townspeople watched, whispering abound,
“Can it be? Marshal Drex has come to town!”
Drex pulled out his guns, spinning them left, then right
Black Bart’s men cowered with fear at the very sight.
But Bart stood firm with his face in a sneer,
And said with a spit, “You’ve no right to be here.
This town is mine! It’s people I own
So get back on your horse and leave us alone!”
But Drex stood firm, his gaze icy cool
Leaving Black Bart to play the part of a fool.
Bart’s anger was rising, his face was beet red,
“Leave now, Marshal or I’ll fill ya with lead!”
He reached down, starting to draw
A maniacal laugh escaped his filthy maw.
But before he could fire, before he could start,
Drex’s swift gun had put a bullet through his heart.
With a quick spin, Drex put his guns in their holster
The townspeople cheered, their spirits he did bolster!
They danced in the streets, some too moved to speak,
They celebrated and partied for almost a week.
Drex, however, had already silently moved on
In search of injustices where others were wronged.
So, if you are someone who causes others pain
You plunder, burn, and kill for accolades and fame
Be careful where you roam and what town you vex –
You may end up in the long shadow of Marshal Drex!
HA, that’s AWESOME, Matt! Well done, you!
Matt! You madman! You wrote that! I’m just knocked out!
Way to go Ben and Doug!
Two things I’ve wanted since I was a kid:
1. Work on a “Star Trek” production in some capacity.
2. Star in a Western.
You’ve now done both of these, Doug. Color me impressed … and extremely jealous!
Don’t feel bad, Buck! I’m just a cameo!
In the words of a wise sage from another sci-fi franchise, “Size matters not!” You can make a big splash with a small part, Doug. Make the most of it!
Lookin’ good, pardner! Thanks for being a part of the film Doug! It was great to have ya!
I must say I was most impressed with your gun slinging abilities. Is there anything you cannot do Captain Drexler?
