Survey findings and summary
After a month-long survey of over 6,000 small businesses nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that California small businesses rate the economy and honesty and ethics in government as the most important issues in the presidential election.
Some of the key findings for California include:
- California small businesses rate gas and fuel costs as the single most burdensome cost to their business - more burdensome than even self-employment taxes or health care costs.
- 38% of all California small business owners rated the economy and jobs as the single most important factor for them in choosing a president.
