2011 Embedded Linux Conference (ELC)

April 11 - 13, 2011 · Hotel Kabuki · San Francisco, CA

The Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) is the premier vendor-neutral technical conference for companies and developers using Linux in embedded products. This conference, now in it's 6th year, has the largest collection of sessions dedicated exclusively to embedded Linux and embedded Linux developers. ELC is embedded Linux experts talking about solutions to your embedded Linux problems.  ELC consists of 3 days of presentations, tutorials and Bird-of-a-Feather sessions. There are over 50 sessions to choose from, on a wide variety of topics.  View the presentations from 2010.

To get an idea of the type of content, please see the presentations and videos from ELC 2010. The videos from ELC Europe 2010 have just recently been published. Co-Located Event: Android Builders Summit

In conjunction with this year's Embedded Linux Conference, we are pleased to announce the addition of the co-located Android Builders Summit (ABS).  The summit is an excellent opportunity for companies participating in Android-based product development to interact and exchange ideas with their industry colleagues and other participants from the Android community. Immediately following the summit, The Linux Foundation will be offering its recently announced Android Training classes.

About the CELF Workgroup

The Linux Foundation and the CE Linux Forum announced a merger on October 27, 2010. CELF is now a workgroup of the Linux Foundation. The use of Linux in embedded products has skyrocketed in recent years, with Linux now being used in consumer electronic devices of all kinds. CELF and The Linux Foundation believe that by combining resources they can more efficiently enable the adoption of Linux in the Consumer Electronics industry. Given the broad overlap in members between the Linux Foundation and CELF, the similarity in the goals of both organizations, and the large increase of embedded participants coming to Linux in recent years, this aligning of resources will strengthen each organization and ultimately help the organizations’ members achieve their missions: growing the embedded Linux market.
