Book Description

In this novel of the near future, America is sliding towards tyranny. Dissident Joel Walter is wanted for a crime he didn't commit. His computer-hacker friend Nephi introduces him to an underworld where technology is Americans' last bastion of freedom and privacy. He helps Joel assume a new identity and disappear into the technological underground. Ever-increasing repression drives Joel, Nephi, and others into open rebellion in a desperate bid to retain their precious liberties.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story March 24, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
A story about freedom fighters opposing an America where the government has turned into big brother. It's fiction, but it's roots are a little too close to what could be.

The characters, Joel & Nephi are well developed and real. I would be friends with them.

It's a good read. I highly recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't You Mean "Centripetal" Force? November 20, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
The physics teacher in me just couldn't get over the title of the book. This a moderately engaging book. It has an interesting plot line, and fairly exciting and colorful characters. This appears to be this author's first solo novel. I'll definitely give the next novel a try!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good read! June 2, 2013

I'll have to admit it was pretty slow at the beginning, and bit confusing the way it jumps to each characters story but after it got tithe middle, it definitely picked up and had me hooked. I couldn't wait to get back to it!

Centrifugal Force follows the logical consequence of the political direction the liberal progressive movement is pushing the country in. A chlling look into the future. Good characterization and bit of humor keep the action moving. What happens when people quit using money and simply barter instead? When the government declares bartering taxable, and untaxed barter a felony. When simply helping your neighbor paint his house puts you in the cross-hairs of the IRS? When personal freedom becomes a crime, and the Governor of Texas and California the target of Federal hit squads for daring to defy Washington? Find out in Centrifugal Force.

This is the writer's first novel. Hopefully, not his last. Worth watching!

This is a great book. Grabbed me in the first few pages and held my attention to the end! Please tell me there is a second book. I really want to know what happened to Joel and his friends.
