Planning how to organize a bridal shower can be daunting. There are many things to take into consideration when planning a bridal shower: food, games, location and of course the guest list. While it may not be as large a task as planning a wedding, it still takes a lot of time and thought to ensure that the bride and guests have an enjoyable time. Planning a bridal shower doesn't have to be all work, though. If you plan in advance it can be a fun and rewarding experience.

When planning a shower for the bride to be you will want to keep in mind her personality type. Match the style of the party to fit in with the personal style of the bride and make sure it flows along with the style of the wedding as well. If your bride loves large parties, for example, you'll want her shower to be a little more elaborate and decorated. If your bride to be has simple tastes or is a shy person, it is best to stick with the more simple decorations, a smaller guest list and perhaps not as many games so as not to overwhelm the bride. Ask your bride if she prefers the more traditional women-only bridal shower or if she would like a co-ed shower with couples and other male relatives on the guest list as well.
