George Zimmerman: Lawyer asks for evidence from ABC
Case Against Zimmerman
Lawyers for George Zimmerman filed a new motion Friday that included claims that evidence may have been edited.
The motion asks ABC to turn over video and audio involving the person known as "Witness Number 8."
Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara wants information from a story ABC aired about Trayvon Martin's family attorney and his questioning of that witness.
In the motion, O'Mara says the information is needed because he believes the evidence he has already received from that questioning is edited, and is poor quality.
“It is apparent from a review of the tape that there are several ‘starts’ and ‘stops’ and other obvious edit indicators,” O’Mara wrote.
So far, the state has not responded to the motion.
