Arsenal were beaten 2-0 by Schalke on Wednesday night, and after the match we asked fans to vote for their star performer.
They voted in their thousands on Arsenal.com and selected Francis Coquelin as their man of the match. The 21-year-old produced a combative display in central midfield and picked up 27 per cent of the votes.
Per Mertesacker was second with 23 per cent, while youngster Serge Gnabry, who made his Champions League debut, was third with 14 per cent.
