Submitting a Sponsorship Proposal

If you would like to request sponsorship support from Walmart, please register an account by clicking here.  Once you have registered your email address, you will receive an email containing a password.  Upon signing into the portal for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password to something that you will not forget.

To submit your proposal, you will have to complete all of the required questions (denoted by a red asterisk *) on each step of the questionnaire in order to move on to the next step.  Once you have answered all required questions, please take a moment to review your entire proposal.  If at this stage you are ready to send your proposal to Walmart for consideration, click the "Submit" button.  Please note that once you click the "Submit" button, you will not be able to edit your request any further.

Once a proposal is submitted, it will be reviewed by the appropriate Walmart team.  The review period typically lasts a minimum of 4 weeks, and you can check the status of your request by logging into your account.

Submission Review Timeline/Criteria

Walmart requires all proposals to be submitted for evaluation at least 4 months prior to the date of the event, season, or program.  Proposals submitted outside of this time frame will not be considered.

Please note:  If your sponsorship proposal is purely charitable in nature (i.e. benefiting a non-profit organization) please contact the Walmart Foundation's giving programs.  Additionally, all media-centric proposals (e.g. TV shows, radio programs, etc.) should go through Walmart's media proposal page.

Generally speaking, Walmart evaluates sponsorships based on:

  • Their compatibility with the Company's brand promise of "Save Money.  Live Better."
  • The manner in which the sponsorship affects and resonates with the Company's customer base
  • The size and scale of the opportunity, including whether it has a specific demographic or regional focus
