Tawazun staff celebrate 41st UAE National Day

Tawazun Holding, its subsidiaries and the Tawazun Economic Council celebrated the 41st UAE National Day today at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi. The celebration highlighted the country's heritage with a wide range of Emirati-inspired acts, including colorful song and dance performances by Emirati children and a range of activities to engage the audience.

The event celebrated the nation's rich history, culture, and achievements, and promoted the national identity of the 41-year old country.

Young Emirati children put on a traditional dance show and team-building sporting activities such as paintball, basketball, volleyball and football were organized for staff.

H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri, CEO of Tawazun, said, "The nation builder and UAE founder, the late Sheikh Zayed always encouraged his people to get positively involved in building the country and contributing to its dignity and prestige."

"Our celebrations today allow us to pay tribute to his legacy that lives on through the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces as well as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; their Highnesses and members of the Supreme Federal Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and, His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. We are proud to be able to bring together the Tawazun team to celebrate the history of the UAE which reflects the union, and which celebrates our culture and heritage," he added.
