2010 in Pictures: Your Weather Photos Revealed
The results are in. We received nearly 50 submissions of 2010 weather images from our readers -- pictures of looming clouds, breathtaking sunsets, mounds of snow, moonlit nights and more. Together they illustrated our incredible year of weather. Without further adieu, here are Capital Weather Gang's top five favorites from each of the two categories - "Snowmageddon" and "Other Weather" - described in our December call for photos.

And the awards for 'Best Snow Comments' go to...
For the past few years, I've compiled the 'best of' comments from the first major snowstorms of the season for the D.C. area. It's that time of year again to showcase this year's weather in photos! There are two categories: Snowmageddon and Other Weather. Each person may submit no more than one relevant photo to each category (for a total of two possible per person). Email your submissions to weathergang@wpni.com. What do you like about summer heat?
The D.C. area has already experienced its fair share of summer conditions ... and it's only the first week of July. We've heard -- and said -- plenty of complaints about the heat and humidity: sweaty work clothes, lack of energy, moldy basements. Yet, some residents actually seem to like the heat.
