Dallas News: The funeral of Chad Littlefield, who was shot and killed along with Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle at a gun range Saturday, will be held at First Baptist Church of Midlothian on Friday at 2 p.m., church officials confirmed.

Littlefield, who was Kyle’s neighbor and workout buddy, is survived by his wife and daughter. His viewing will be at Midlothian Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral arrangements for Kyle, who is survived by his wife and two children, have not been set.

In the meantime, Glenn Beck’s Charity, Mercury One, raised record donations for Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield’s families. FITCO Cares totaled more $118, 890. The top anonymous donor sent in $5,000.

After his tragic passing, Mercury One is honoring Chris Kyle, former U.S. Navy SEAL and sniper, by supporting the Chris Kyle Memorial and FITCO Cares, a foundation started by Chris Kyle. 100% of funds raised through your donations to this site will go to support these two efforts.

The Loss of A Hero

The FITCO Cares foundation will always carry the torch to help our brave men and women who have survived combat but are still fighting to survive post traumatic stress disorder. Chris Kyle helped establish this foundation and we are committed to make sure his memory lives on forever.

According to The Blaze, the spike in donations, Kerry said, was thanks to Beck reaching out to his audience on the radio Tuesday.

“Glenn’s passion and emotion came straight from his heart and his audience responded,” Kerry said, noting that 100 percent of all monies donated to this effort will be passed along. “Nothing is going to administrative or overhead.”

Due to the generosity of donors, the initial goal set by Mercury One was raised to $500,000.

“Our goal was $50,000. And that was because Mercury One was making a donation of $25k to the Chris Kyle Memorial Fund and$25k to the family of Chad Littlefield,” Kerry said. “These donations are in addition to the $50k we thought we would raise. Our goal was to raise $50k and donate $50k directly from Mercury One. We’re well beyond that now.”

The fundraising effort with a new goal of $500,000 will continue until Monday, Feb. 11.
