Rocket Lab’s Hi-Noz thermal ablative material was recently selected as an alternative material for thermal protection on Patriot missiles. The processing and ablative performance made it ideal for repairs to damaged insulation. Hi-Noz is a lightweight, reinforced, two-part mix and pour, liquid bulk moulding compound originally developed for the rapid manufacture of rocket nozzles.
