(bahamadia roots remix) thanks for the ATCQ link, never came across it before. i shall def check out that page on FB, i am in a few music groups in there like ‘strikly beatz’ and ‘the beat junkies’, when i’m active on there, they’re pretty dope too. You’re good, don’t worry you didn’t talk me out haha wish you a sweet evening, much love, and stay blessed x http://youtu.be/rXW_dHd42pY (lovely day 88 remix)

http://s3-media4.ak.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/7-FXjkeqrnMEQtPcB0cQWg/l.jpg what’s your ethnicity btw? Or your roots from, or do you eat foods from your roots, or just American food? I am a lover of different food cultures; i love to try out new things, from snails to chicken feet to African and Moroccan cuisines. Def agree it’s hard to pin point your fav atcq tracks, that’s why you just have to appreciate all their individual LPS. Lean on me bill withers? I loved that track, he got sampled quite a few times too. passin me’ by is probs one of my fav hiphop tracks, lol yeha slick rick is still around (he used to live around my way) the track is dope considering it was made in 2009 with slick rick, maybe madlibs beat was the reason why, but both verses were sweet regardless. I have friends so caught up with these fashion icons, they hang with a certain group and if you don’t have what everyone else has, you’re looked down on or not in their ‘so called popularity circle’. If i have a child, i will teach him or her to be different and to have/form their own views and opinions, so as to not to be caught up with media or hype. Mind you it’s been ongoing since i was 10 and it’s still ongoing today just with a set of different trends and icons (some things will never change) what part of states are you from btw? cus i love gardening when ever there’s some sunshine but i heard in places like NYC they don’t have gardens and it would cost a lot for them to have one. Try ‘Lush’ for chocolate body baths, it’s a handmade soap store, but it can be a lil bit pricey, but they do have some really cool stuff in there lol bare with me whilst i read the rest of your comments. Okay yes green tea ice cream is yummy, and Persian icecream with noodles, mmm

Who is Alexander o Neil btw? To be fair, America’s got talent is a lot better than the Brit one, i watched parts of it this year, and i swear the judges were either deaf or blind. Some of the contestants, im not sure how they made it in the finals, maybe it’s because they were all so bad, that they had to randomly pick a few. You spot on about artists these days not needing to expand their music skills and relying on technology. I know this too because when i was 19, i had a producer and music manager who wanted to me to join his label, even though i told him i couldn’t sing, he was like “it doesn’t matter you just have to look the part” lol. i never went though with it though, i always fancied myself more as a scientist, or teacher. http://youtu.be/QIZ1NKU5wyw (PR - love this instrumental!) another fav prod ofc... btw most those designers that people spend 100’s on are products from China anyway, they will rip tear or break...what’s the point.

DJ premier is another fav producer of mine, the way he sampled chopped some of those gangstarr beats uhh! he’s been in the making for years and really gave us hiphop heads some solid tracks to nod too lol, but does shock me at times with who he produces beats for, i guess the money gets him there. DJ funk :D i broke the needles of one of my ex boyfriends set before, it was fun though, i got to be a DJ and mess around but not for him, he was kinda mad about the needle lol. i used to love doing the dissecting parts on cassettes too, i remember sometimes my fav tapes would get chewed up and i’d be so upset, or when you spent a good 30 minutes trying to rewind the string cus it fell out the tape or got stuck. I have a few tapes lying around my room, a few years ago because i had some promo tapes, i wanted to upload them on as mp3s, but with the audio jack and the quality in general, with the pops and cracks, it wasn’t worth it, and it was a lengthy process to upload too.

http://youtu.be/8tX5koqZO4A i co-sign with you on having to go out there and look for ‘real hiphop’ these days because it isn’t played on mainstream stations, mind you like you said the internet (the hiphop community on here is great) and there are some great shows still and who didn’t play out mc hammer at one point? haha we’ve all been there with the quirky weirded out tracks, anyone who says they havn’t is lying or havn’t lived. Glad you’re feeling that Xtra P track btw, he’s still doing his thing still, and that’s another reason why i dig him, his versatility with DJing and holding the mic and actually being good at it. Dr Dre had some sweet beats, even classics, but to be honest i havnt listened to anything new from him in a whilst, i personally feel he’s had his time but a lot of people might disagree with me on that, chronic/2001 ... should just be left as classics. I never heard detox, how was the singles on the radio btw?

The government even like you mentioned corporations will always have control on what’s aired out on the stations. it’s their way of mind controlling the public/younger youths or society as a whole (like 1984 animal farm). i mean let’s face it, we can all have a say, protest or go against any new law changes, we can even vote etc but the reality is be it decisions on music or a new scheme..The bottom line is if those powerful people want something to happen or want a change, it will go ahead regardless of what me, you or anyone else thinks. and voting... yeah right... i don’t believe in the voting system. In regards to technology, i personally love it when i do things that make me feel accomplished knowing i havn’t wasted my time glued to face book or other social apps which can take too much of your time up without you even realising. Half the time these days i don’t even have time to get back to people, let alone sit around texting back and forth on facebook or different phone apps.

My housemates at time have played random southern tracks or just radio pop tracks in general and i’m like “eek what the hell is this...” but after they rotate it a few times, you catch me secretly singing to the hook/chorus lol. it’s funny reading the term ‘geezer’ espesh’ more so from an American, that’s such a typical English word, but you won’t hear many Londoners using that term i guess. (cute) yeah i have to agree, i personally love watching the news and catching up with current affairs globally, i think in general it’s always a good thing to know what’s happening around the world, to be glued up on important matters/events even if it doesn’t affect you. On Sunday we had a little barbeque and a friend was like “where is your neighbour from?” i was like from Palestine...he had no idea where it was or any general knowledge of the war out there (Gaza/Isreal) was quite funny for me cus at times i just assume everybody follows the news.

Hey good evening (: it’s cool, and sorry for the slow respond over here also, it’s been a hectic week and i havn’t had time to check the pc, as well as the pc being real slow also with some problems. Your pc is that old? ‘the sisqo pc’ lol yeah, i can imagine, the library pcs are pretty slow here too, but being a book nerd and an oldschool member of my local book club, libraries are one of my fav places and like a best friend. there’s nothing more i enjoy than a good read. do you use the library for studying or work related also? Or just to surf the net. So i just gave ‘the pop your collar’ track a listen, lol yeah i definitely do not like them vocally, i guess the beats head nodding enough though haha. i never heard of DJ Khalad before, i can’t say i like this track much though but i mean sometimes i never take to hearing a track first time round and then it eventually grows on me.

Sweet deal! I got into them because I remember seeing Pink Floyd posters in my elementary school's music room. Oh well those are two of their best albums! Haha, inquire about that then! I got mine at HMV. ^~^ Yay, hahaha! You're welcome! That'll be a nice one! Mine is Sherlock. :') So true. That's exactly how I came to choose his works and paintings over others. That's a pretty cool name in my opinion. :P Yeah, that's how I felt about it too. It's so elegant and designed in a very fitting way. The whole mood is serene. That's totally correct! He's all about domestic landscapes and still life. In a nutshell, his pieces are meant to generate thoughts that provide an underlying story or continuation to the painting in question. Awesome! I knew I could count on ya! :D Thanks! C:

To be honest, I liked that way more. They also played a little snippet of the theme song to go with it; I mean, ah that was perfect! Fantastic! It's the best like that. c: Ooh, I see! I've never seen that here, so it must be the only - truly viable exception! I really want to try one of those someday, haha. I'll make it a goal to do so. :P Absolutely. That's what constantly draws me back to that song. Even though I wasn't there, I can feel every emotion that was being communicated. It worked so well. Yup, for sure! Ah, I know. It can be extremely dangerous at times. Deadmau5 had an incident where the club he was performing at (Provacateur in New York) almost caught fire. It was crazy because of what he tweeted afterwards, he said: “Omg I actually lived through that… Nearly blew up myself and a buncha people in the booth. Pyros a bitch.” :O Aww that must have been such a bad experience to go through during childhood! Mhm! I like my distance from things like that anyway. It's precarious.

It's quite alright. I completely understand! I've been putting off my stuff for a bit now too since final exams are plaguing me. xD Oh wow, that sounds serious. We've had some heavy rain as well, but it wasn't nearly that drastic. Haha! No kidding? I can't believe the irony of it all. Apparently that's right. Yeah? That's hilarious. I have a copy of the novel. It's fantastic. That's a great track! Lol, we just have to keep our freedom of thought and it'll be fine. I see, nice! Well, I haven't really explored many films that would fall into that category, so I don't know. :b Woah! Now that's twisted. It's promoting the do-it-yourself mentality in a not-so-nice manner. That's how serial killers find excuses to "justify" their actions. Aha! Thanks. But it's mainly just a habitual thing. LOL, I love that metaphor. I'd never want to become a doctor either. It's too technical for me! Wouldn't that have been cool?! :D Ohh no, that's absolutely tragic to picture! He'd be so blue! Literally. xD

Right on! Hmm, I do like a fair bit of pyro and cool light shows, but they aren't always necessary! I'm usually far too focused on the band and their performances to notice anything else. :b What about you? Wow really? ^~^ Well I'm glad you like the piece! Yup! It's the piece that really stands out from the rest of his work. Lol, wow! I love Dark Side of the Moon. I have a mug with the album cover on it. :D Nice choices! Ha! You're right, he does look a lot like him. Perhaps he's his long-lost, ancient brother? Yay! :3 Woman Holding A Balance is another favourite of mine if you wanna check more out! c: Of course. That's what makes it all so appealing and intriguing as well. LOL! Well I certainly hope that you'd be able to!

That applies to most of the ones out there. xD Yeah, it makes room for a lot of hypocrisy. Exactly. There's no real reason to try attaining perfection anyway. Hmm. Very true. What kind of independent films do you like to watch? Lol, I have no clue! I've never seen a point in it either. They just need 3D as an excuse to put in more jump scares. Aha! I'm almost always snacking on something while enjoying my classic horror films; it's no trouble to me. :P Haha geez...! The question: "What would you do for a Klondike Bar?" would be answered with him screaming "ANYTHING!" and bawling like a baby. I can't remember which ones they were either! Ah well. Revisiting the older shouts should help with that. :) But okay! Hope you like 'em! They sell those at the dollar store? xD I usually don't trust foods that come from there. Oh, absolutely. I can only imagine how traumatizing it was. You can tell just by reading the lyrics from the track, not to mention hearing how it's sung by him.
