Future Employment and Recusal

On September 14, 2007, House Rule XXVII was enacted and affects Members, officers of the House, and "very senior" staff regarding negotiations for future employment and recusals from any matter in which a conflict of interest may occur.  The STOCK Act extended these guidelines to "senior staff" as well.  Below are  advisory memoranda for Members and staff regarding this and also forms that are to be used by any individual covered by the requirement.
