Bosnia-Hercegovina

Albany have been contracted to provide general regulatory consultancy for the country's converged telecoms and broadcasting regulator: the Communications Regulatory Agency (CRA) and the self-regulatory Press Council. The contract is part of a major USAID media strengthening programme which aims to improve the media policy attention on the public agenda; obtain public buy-in for media policy; raise the profile of the Press Council and provide effective working practices to improve relationships between the CRA and Office of the High Representative, the office of the EU Special Representative and in particular with the governments of Bosnia and Hercegovina.

Specifically Albany is providing expert advice and support for policy construction for digital transition; improved structure and operations of the Press Council; improved internal and external communications of the Press Council and to produce a 5-year Management Plan for the CRA.
