Construction equipment demolishes the overhead at the old gas station on 12th Street Feb. 27. The gas station demolition will take about three weeks according to the Construction Management Division, Department Public Works. Tarvares Concrete Company, Lorton, Va., is doing the gas station demolition, which was built in 1964.
