The Process
You will be meeting with your grandparent and deciding which task the two of you would like to do.  Using your resources and available materials, cooperatively work with your grandparent to create the chosen task.  You will have two weeks to complete your project.  At the end of two weeks, you will be grouped with 4 fellow students who will score your project and presentation.  You will have three minutes to share your project with them.  While you are sharing, your group members will also be involved in one of the following roles:

Mathematician
As the mathematician, your job is to collect the groups scores and add up the totals. You will also need to turn in the score sheet to the teacher.

Reporter
The reporter will share the highlights of the presentation to the class.

Recorder
The recorder's job is to take notes of important and interesting things that were shared.

Time Keeper
The time keeper's job is important. It is necessary that no one exceed the three minutes allotted.

After you have shared your project, you will take on one of the roles (above) while someone else in your group shares his/her project until everyone has shared. Rotate roles in your group until everyone has shared.
