Ibn Saud marries for a second time
From this his second marriage, there came two sons. The first, Prince Turki showed great promise as he grew to manhood but was to have his life cruelly cut short by the influenza epidemic of 1919. The second son was Prince Saud, who was to succeed his father as King. Prince Saud's birth coincided with Ibn Saud's attack on Riyadh.
