Meet the counsellors

Reconnexion has approximately 20 counsellors at our sites in Glen Iris, Cranbourne and Melton.

Our counsellors include clinical psychologists, psychologists, social workers and psychotherapists. All of our counsellors are fully qualified and have university degrees in their chosen profession. Reconnexion counsellors are experienced in providing specialist counselling for anxiety, depression and/or benzodiazepine dependency, and are chosen for their personal qualities of warmth and compassion, as well as their expertise.

We know that it can be a difficult decision to make to decide to see a counsellor. Our counsellors work with you to support you to find the way to recovery from anxiety, depression or benzodiazepine dependency; and provide you with strategies that will help you to progress.

We recognise that everyone has unique needs, and counselling is a collaborative relationship, where your experience, opinions and decisions are respected.

As anxiety disorders and depression are common in childhood and adolescence, Reconnexion has specialist child & adolescent psychologists.

All of our counsellors have expertise across the range of anxiety disorders and depression, and some have specific expertise in post natal depression and social phobia. A number of our psychologists and social workers provide group programs. Click here for a list of group programs.
