Bunch of suit wearers that think they can intimidate ppl by coming round and taking there hobby away when they aren't doing anything wrong e.g buying radios off eBay then getting them taken away for using them If you can't use them why are you allowed to buy them makes no sense to me

I don't think the standards are stringent enough, homes are private. As a working mum the only time I get with my kids is the evenings and weekends, I don't want to spend it fending off aggressive sales calls from anyone - including charities - nor do I wish to explain why it is inapproprite for these callers when my 9 yo daughter answers the phone, for them to proceed to try and sell HER their wares. I would also like to see some safeguards in relation to the release of mobile phones. My children have recently got mobiles for their safety travelling to / from school etc and in less than a month we have had 7 calls and 5 SMS's that are completely inappropriate.

The ACMA has worked with US Federal Trade Commission and Canadian Radio-television & Telco Commission to close down massive global phone scam – imposters posing as Microsoft employees offering to fix PC viruses.

The ACMA became aware of the scam after complaints were made from registrants on the Do Not Call Register.
