State of Decay may look a little rough around the edges, but the mixed zombie-survival-and-management sandbox shooter has been whetting our appetites since last year. Thankfully, the traditionally-named Undead Labs have released a new trailer for the game and announced the release date - June.
And here's the new trailer.
For those who don't know State of Decay is a real-time sandbox world that generates zombie threats and plot elements depending on how you're doing. You can play the game defensively, building your town and reinforcing it's defenses, or take the fight to the horde. Oh, and it's all set in a huge open GTA world with vehicles and multiple locations to explore.
It's never going to be the most beautiful game, but it may well be the one that gets the most time on our consoles this summer. Our, aha, older consoles that is.

I am intrigued about this game as its not going to be a run of the mill zombie shooter but something where you have to think. Hopefully the producers can deliver on their promises

As long as it doesn't just turn out to be a GTA style game but with Zombies then this is shaping up to be great. I also hope it doesn't get too easy too quickly. I would rather be constantly under pressure than soon find after a few hours that I've stockpiled enough weapons and ammo to last a world war

Bear in mind that this is an XBLA game and, just my opinion, may be like a test for the upcoming 'Class 4' or whatever they end up calling it.

I think thats the generic logo indication of the criteria needed for games to be rated M+, not that they have all of those elements
