Wigan Warriors are delighted to announce the launch of the Community Stadium Partners programme and for the next twelve months the Club's Training Facility at Edge Hall Road at Orrell will be known as the Wigan Laundry Company Community Stadium.

Wigan Laundry Company were awarded the naming rights following a draw which involved 25 top local companies and organisations who have have joined together to become part of the Partners Programme.

The programme devised by Sales Manager Joyce Pickles allows the 25 companies the opportunity to network and advertise and to show their support of the continued development by the Club of its successful Youth Development programme.

The quality training environment at the Orrell facility is the lynch-pin in the development of the Club's Players from Scholarship level all the way through to First Team. Eleven of the seventeen players in the First Team squad for the season opener against Warrington Wolves have come through the Club's Youth Programme, a testimony to the fantastic work done in recent years. The companies were given the opportunity on Wednesday to see at first hand a typical days training as they were given a tour of the Training Ground and met the Club's Players and Coaching Staff.

Speaking about the new name of the Community Stadium, Phil Yates from Wigan Laundry Company said,

"We are thrilled that the Stadium at Orrell and the home ground of the Under 19's and Scholarship will be known as the Wigan Laundry Company Community Stadium. As long-time supporters of the Club we are pleased to show our support of the Partners Programme and were fortunate to be selected as the first new naming partners of this magnificent facility."

A second draw was made with the Main Stand at the ground now known as the Blue Sky Plumbing Stand while the First Team Gym will be sponsored by Fairhurst Accountants.

The Community Partners Programme will run on a 12 month rolling contract with the naming rights available in a draw once more in April 2014.
