AT&T; National

If you haven't been paying attention to golf for the past few months, it may come as a surprise that Tiger Woods is the top-ranked golfer in the world once again. His recent resurgence makes his foundation's annual D.C. area golf tournament, the AT&T; National, all the more interesting. The field hasn't been announced yet but with many top golfers using it as a tune-up between the U.S. Open and the British Open, expect plenty of big names. And hope for better weather, too: Damage caused by last June's derecho forced the third round of the tournament to be played without spectators. Congressional Country Club 8500 River Rd., Bethesda, MD | 800-594-8499
