  Quite the reverse, for it is upper half of society, they being the voting majority, it is their willingness to take away the liberty of the lower half of society so they can continue to hoard all the wealth.

  Our government itself has evolved into a Sovereign entity, empowered by the energies of its mostly unwitting members and citizens, that is viewed by the people of other nations, as a tyrant seeking to convert others, with the use of power over others, to its distorted worldview.
  Because of this, we are now engaged in a war on terror, a war of our own creation, because we, the People, for our own mostly fearful reasons, choose to ignore truth, and refuse to tolerate the indoctrinated beliefs of others, in favor of our own indoctrinated beliefs, rather than tolerate, examine, and compromise all of our beliefs.
  Compromising our beliefs does not mean giving them up, or betraying them, it simply means examining them, honestly and openly, to determine whether they are truly in the best interest of an intelligently evolving species.
