Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria

The listings below are all pet cemeteries and crematoria who are members of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria (APPCC).

The APPCC is believed to be the only organisation in Europe setting standards for pet cemeteries and crematoria that protect the pet owner and ensure their pet is handled they way they expect.

Established in 1993, the APPCC has grown into a well-respected organisation whose membership includes some of the top specialist pet cemeteries and crematoria in the country. They all adhere to a code of practice which sets standards around:

• the sympathetic handling of the pet at all times
• the burial or cremation carried out according to the legal requirements of the country
• the committal of the body or the ashes to a particular area intended for that purpose or, in the case of cremation, the return of the ashes to the owner.
