Moving to London’s West Side
The west side has long been the fashionable place to rent flats in London with its posh shopping and nightlife and leafy residential areas. Warren Street is located on the upper side of west London’s Fitzrovia neighborhood, which was historically a flourishing bohemian spot home to the literary likes of George Bernard Shaw. Today, Fitzrovia still carries some of that spirit and is a bustling mixture of the residential and commercial.
Generally bounded by Euston Road to the north, Oxford Street to the south, Great Portland Street to the west, and Gower Street to the east, Fitzrovia is situated north of Soho and between Marylebone and Bloomsbury. Though surrounded by major thoroughfares, Warren Street is itself a smaller street running east-west from Cleveland Street to Tottenham Court Road, just above the garden of Fitzroy Square. It has some of its own storefronts but becomes more quietly residential. And within walking distance of Oxford and Regents Streets as well as all the shopping and diverse restaurants to be hand on and around Tottenham Court Road, Warren Street apartments have easy access to all the need-to-haves and nice-to-haves. It’s also a close walk to the immense green space of Regent’s Park, where you can enjoy long strolls through its 400+ acres as well as its zoo, open-air theatre, and sports pitches.
Adding to the convenience, Warren Street apartments also benefit from proximity to multiple modes of public transport. Warren Street tube station is located just off the street’s eastern end, where Euston Road meets Tottenham Court Road. It’s serviced by the Northern and Victoria lines whereas Euston Square tube station nearby is on the Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & City lines. London Euston just to northeast is also a hub of rail lines, serviced by the Northern and Victoria lines of the London Underground as well as Overground and Network Rail trains. Alternatively, if you live on the west end of the street, Great Portland Street station is close by on the same Underground lines as Euston Square, and Regent’s Park station is on the Bakerloo. Nearly a dozen bus routes run from Warren Street, and there’s a docking station for Barclays bikes at the station along with several others along Euston and throughout Fitzrovia.
Finding Warren Street Apartments
If it’s Fitzrovia meeting your fancy, London Relocation will discuss with you in more depth the neighborhood’s characteristics and amenities. After thoroughly assessing your requirements and preferences as well, we’ll advise on whether the area is a good fit (and suggest others if not). If it’s indeed a go, we’ll then chauffeur you to as many as 25 flats for rent in London’s Fitzrovia, focusing on Warren Street apartments if you prefer the north side of the neighborhood.
And we take you to view all these properties in only one day. That’s an exhaustive search that ensures you get a complete picture of what the locale can offer within your budget, time frame, and other specifications. Otherwise, visiting individual lettings agencies on your own can take as long as two weeks.
The predicament with the London rentals market, you see, is that agencies don’t use a multiple listing service to share their listings of London flats with each other. This keeps their portfolios highly localized and, unfortunately for the tenant, incomplete. Undertaking a comprehensive property search on your own, then, requires scheduling appointments with several different estate agencies, with no one of them able to be your single point of service.
That’s why London Relocation exists. We’re one point of contact for an assortment of relocation services, personalized to your individual needs so that moving to London isn’t more of a hassle than it needs to be. We’ll help you sort through any preliminary plans, and once you find the property that’s perfect for you, we’ll negotiate your rent and terms of your lease. Serving your best interests every step of the way, we’ll be there for you through it all, from first moving to London to making a home of it.
