THEOLOGY and THEOLOGY TODAY ENTER PARTNERSHIP WITH SAGELondon (June 9th, 2010) – SAGE, the world’s leading independent academic and professional publisher, today announced the further expansion of its flourishing Theology and Religious Studies journals portfolio. From 2011 SAGE will publish Theology in association with SPCK, and Theology Today on behalf of Princeton Theological Seminary. Theology Today is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal, founded in 1944 at Princeton Theological Seminary. The journal seeks to introduce to an ecumenical readership of academics and religious leaders significant new figures and movements in Christian theology, fostering intellectual encounters between Christianity and the other Abrahamic faiths, and bringing theological reflection and assessment into dialogue with emerging forms of church life and mission. Theology is published six times a year and includes peer-reviewed contributions from leading scholars and first-time authors from across the Christian tradition. The journal keeps abreast of the latest developments in all fields of theological enquiry, including contemporary Christian thought and practice, biblical studies, historical theology, systematic theology, pastoral theology, philosophy and ethics. It also seeks to help individuals engage further in key issues regarding ministry and theological education.
