Best decade for music?

Music, they say, is the universal language. But, is it the generational language? In a Poll Position national scientific telephone survey we asked, what is your favorite decade for music starting from the 1950′s through today. In a fairly close race the 60′s beat out the 70′s. Here are the poll results:

Poll Position’s scientific telephone survey of 1,107 registered voters nationwide was conducted November 17, 2011 and has a margin of error of ±3%. Poll results are weighted to be a representative sampling of all American adults.
