Rihanna‘s latest single ‘Stay’ makes a major leap on the Billboard Hot 100 this week soaring from #57 to #3!
We say that serves as the ultimate birthday gift for pop’s golden gal (she turned 25 yesterday). The song encountered a massive increase of 358% in digital downloads, selling over 306K copies, and nabbing the #2 spot on the Hot Digital Songs chart. Such a feat means that Rihanna surpasses Whitney Houston‘s 23 top 10 hits on the Hot 100 with a tally of 24. She has yet to pass legendary acts such as Mariah Carey/Janet Jackson‘s 27, Michael Jackson/Stevie Wonder‘s 28 and Madonna‘s 38. Amazing!
