  • Welcome to the Eastern Catholic Church
The Catholic Church is a communion of churches. It is made up of churches from the Eastern Tradition and Western Tradition. Every catholic has a responsibility for understanding the fullness of the Catholic Church. Pope John Paul has said "the church must learn to breathe again with its two lungs, its eastern and western one"

Welcome

The purpose of the Eastern Catholic Church's presence here in the Philippines and in all parts of the world is to be the light of the world. We show to this modern world what Christianity means, and as to what it means the church should also be. Though we firmly hold on to our faith and doctrines without compromise, but we are not a church of mere doctrines / books / hierarchy. We value above all, Christ and His teachings of love, mercy and forgiveness. One of the things we find when we read the early Christian writings is that their Christianity was not theology-centered. It was relationship-centered. No politics, not until the church became rich and influential. The essence of early Christianity was an obedient love-faith relationship with Christ, and we want to bring this kind of spirit back to the church and inspire other Christian Churches, not just Catholics to recapture the original Christian life and spirit. This is the very reason why the heart of our mission is always to establish a church as a way of life, the life that our Lord Jesus taught us and inspired us to live ("…see how the Christians love one another", cf. Tertullian, Apology 39:6). We are leading our faithful to return to that pure and simple Gospel message that the early Christians received directly from the Apostles. The ancient church lived by it, and shared it with all who would listen. We hope that anyone who discovered this secret will appreciate the richness of our past and the significance of the contributions of the Eastern Catholic Church in the life of the entire Catholic Church.
