Watch stunning visuals mesh with a slick sound

(CBS News) The moment I saw this music video, I was blown away and became absolutely obsessed with it. I initially intended to hold off on posting it up until the Weekend Music Round-Up this Friday... but that would mean waiting a whole 48 hours, and I just couldn't do it. (I lasted for about 10 minutes.) So go ahead and click play above and start to share in my obsession.

(CBS News)  We're going to follow-up our oddities in nature post with two cases of the weird and wacky on the domestic front. And to start us off on the right foot is a case of a dog actually having a bit of trouble with his own feet. It might have something to do with his new sneakers...

Two cases of weird and wacky in the great outdoors

(CBS News) There's a reason why it's called "the great outdoors." It's big, grand, full of adventure and mystery. (Oh, and also outdoors.) So, occasionally, some pretty weird and wacky stuff happens in it, too. Here are two examples of the latter starting with a case of one fish and two very different "fishermen." (Spoiler: one of the two may or may not actually be an eagle.)

(CBS News) Did you know that YouTube Comedy Week is about to start? (I'm going to pretend you said "no" followed by my immediate reaction of gasping in a hyperbolic manner.) Gasp! Are you serious? Kids tasting foods for first time in slow motion

(CBS News) The Internet largely seems to agree that "kids are cute." (And overwhelmingly appear to agree on that point when it comes to all things cats.) But they can be pretty finicky eaters when it comes to certain foods, particularly those typically associated with a more developed and refined palate. Which, as it turns out, actually makes them even cuter when watched, especially if it's in slow-motion... Alright, I'm sure you get the picture. Go ahead and watch it all unfold above.

Chris Hadfield says farewell to ISS with music

(CBS News) Back in February, I may have been slightly overemphatic in the way I expressed the sentiment that you needed to watch Commander Chris Hadfield manage a music first by performing from space along with the Barenaked Ladies back here on earth. Well... stop what you're doing this instant! And watch Commander Hadfield "wow" us all over again with his out of this world goodbye music video above. (And, yes, you really need to see this one!)
