ATS deployment in South Africa

RT-RK is releasing a new product to support testing of South African DVB DTT Set-Top Box. The product is a variant of functional testing that meets SABC (South African Broadcasting Corporation) specifications and the chosen security solution.

Automated Testing System

ATS is a software and hardware environment based on black box testing methodology, also known as functional testing. It is a customizable, easy launch, cost effective solution for automated testing in TV and multimedia technology.

Round-Robin Multi-Device Testing

Round-Robin method performs testing of up to 24 devices simultaneously reducing the time and effort required to test each device individually. The method is very useful for digital TV operators, QA departments and service centres.

STB Diagnostic Station

STB-DS is a black box testing based test environment for automated testing of up to 12 STBs simultaneously. It is the most efficient and most economical way to test a device in a predefined scenario which provides the complete functionality verification.
