Dick Van Dyke brain disorder has forced the 87-year-old actor to cancel his upcoming appearances as doctors have ordered the Hollywood star to stay in bed. Dyke, who starred in many classic movies such as Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, canceled his appearances at an April 26 event in order to recover from “fatigue and lack of sleep resulting from symptoms of a yet-to-be-diagnosed neurological disorder.”

While the neurological disorder Dick Van Dyke is suffering from has not been publicly diagnosed, a source close to the legendary star told reporters,
“He’s really fine. He’s up and about and doing well. He’s been having some headaches ad they are trying to figure out the cause but he’s doing okay.”
On April 17, Dick Van Dyke brain disorder became public knowledge as the comedy actor tweeted to his followers,

Dick Van Dyke’s rep has told reporters,
“Tests and scans have yet to reveal a specific diagnosis. Various medications have not diminished the symptoms…Until there is a specific diagnosis and treatment plan he is advised against travel by flight and is resting at home in Malibu.”
Dick Van Dyke made headlines last year for marrying is 40-year-old make-up artist girlfriend Arlene Silver. While in that instance, some critics were commenting on the age difference of the pair and questioning Dyke’s judgement, many now are wishing the actor well and hoping that this health issue is not serious.
