In addition, Albany provided expert input into the UK Government’s strategic communications plan for Southern Iraq.
Afghanistan
In 2011, Albany advised the Afghan government on broadcast policy and licensing process to move toward a licensing regime and regulatory framework that promotes new, diverse voices and complies with international standards. Albany also advised UNAMA on its communications plan to support the Afghan National Development Strategy.
Lebanon
Albany provided strategic communications support and advice on Human Security to the Lebanese Palestinian Dialogue Committee. The project foresaw the development of a bottom-up comprehensive strategic communications and public outreach plan aimed at supporting and improving the Government of Lebanon's work with the Palestinian refugee community living in Lebanon, resulting in the production of a refugee camp Security Plan.

Albany was hired to help the Media High Council of Rwanda in efforts to restructure its staff and to thrash out a new cooperative way of working with licensees and stakeholders for the improvement of the country’s media sector.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Albany are advising the newly formed communications regulator, reviewing and making recommendations on communications legislation and policy, and working to develop media law assistance and outreach capabilities of local civil society organisations.
