Rolland Keith "Rollie" Frye, 68, of Lafayette, passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Indiana Veterans Home. Born August 29, 1945 in Frankfort, he was the son of the late John O. Frye, Jr. and Marion M. (Reed) Frye. He was a 1964 graduate of Lafayette Central Catholic High School and attended Indiana Business College. He honorably served in the Army in Viet Nam.
Rollie was a job counselor for BonaVista in Kokomo and previously had been a route man for National Sales Company, Wagner and Surendorf in Logansport and Calderon Brothers in Kokomo. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a 3rd Order Franciscan. He enjoyed collecting records, old TV show videos, and dolls.
Surviving is a brother John O. Frye III (wife, Dixie) of Lafayette, three nephews, two nieces, and very dear friends, Chuck and Barb Bunnell.
