She was spotted with party host Julie Macklowe, a former hedge fund manager who currently invests in fashion companies and youthful designers.

The Phantom Of The Opera star wore a fun multi-coloured mid-thigh summer dress that showed off her lean pins.

The sleeveless dress, in patriotic red, white and blue hues, also revealed the actress' toned arms.

Emmy walked around barefoot on the lawn and wore her dark hair in a single large braid tucked under a white sun hat with a wide dark blue hat ribbon.

She was wearing bright red lipstick which she was careful not to smudge as she blew up some red and blue balloons, and also stopped to take photographs with her friends.

Emmy was coming off a busy few weeks shooting Comet in Los Angeles with co-star Justin Long.

The day marks the moment in history when America broke free from the rule of the British Empire.

It was on July 4, 1776, that the Declaration of Independence was adopted by delegates to the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia.

The change came amidst great political upheaval during the American Revolution in which 13 North American colonies joined forces to legally separate from Great Britain after rejecting royalist rule.

The British Sovereign of the time was King George III.

We all hate Anne Hathaway but not Emmy who is somewhat of a lookalike, proof that we are not jealous of women we dislike.
