BEINKE TO RETURN TO ALBERTON
The Port Adelaide Football Club are happy to announce the return of Best & Fairest winner and three time Premiership player Bryan Beinke, who will take up a coaching role with the Magpies in 2012.
Bryan will be the Club’s Reserves Coach and will join past team mates Tony Bamford and current Forward Coach Paul Evans as the league Assistant Coach. Beinke, who came through the Magpie grades as a player, was drafted to the Adelaide Football Club in 1999 playing 38 AFL games. In 2011 Bryan coached the Norwood Reserves team to a Grand Final.
“The Club is delighted to have secured the services of Bryan Beinke to assist our development and transition of young players preparing to reach the elite levels of football. Bryan’s experience since he has been away from the club will hold him in great order as our club continues the climb to become a powerhouse in SANFL football again. We welcome Bryan, Joanna, Airlie and Lylah back to the Port Adelaide Football Club” Neil Rawlings, General Manager.
The new structure is an exciting move forward for the club, as we head into Pre Season training for 2012.
