Legend of Zelda CGI Movie Trailer from 2007 Emerges

Imagi Animation Studios created the fan made CGI trailer above for a Legend of Zelda movie back in 2007; however, the project appears to have been cancelled. The trailer does not particularly feature any specific Zelda games one can imagine it to be Twilight Princess inspired. So what do you think about this concept for a CGI Zelda movie?

The Wind Waker HD Launches September 26 in Japan

While we know that The Wind Waker HD is due out in October for North America, our Japanese equivalent did not have a release window - that is until now as The Wind Waker HD is set to release on September 26, 2013 in Japan. We also have the Japanese boxart, which can be seen after the break.

It began way back in 1986 with the release of The Legend of Zelda in Japan. Since then, people from around the globe have enjoyed Link's adventures across a number of Nintendo consoles. But while there's no title available for Wii U just yet, all this is about to change as a high-definition remake of the classic Wind Waker hits shelves later this year. The anticipation for its arrival got us thinking of some of the best offerings from a consistently impressive franchise.

Comic-Con: A Link Between Worlds Demo Footage

The footage above comes from GameSpot and shows off A Link Between Worlds. The footage is direct feed so provides good quality. Dark Horse Shows Off New Zelda Statues at Comic-Con

During this years Comic-Con, Dark Horse - publisher of Hyrule Historia - showed off 4 Zelda inspired statues. Three of the 4 statues are pictured above. Pictured are Skyward Sword Link, Twilight Princess Link, and Twilight Princess Ganondorf. A statue of the Scervo mini-boss from Skyward Sword was also presented but we have no image of it yet. Dark Horse did not give any details about the statues - no price point, release window, and even said the license has not been approved yet so the statues may never actually end up being produced. An item recently surfaced over on Amazon that reveals what could be a must have for any Zelda fan. The item is a limited edition Legend of Zelda Box Set that includes 6 hardcover Prima game guides. The set includes guides for Ocarina of Time 3D, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword (revised and expanded by over 100 pages) but this isn't all that makes this box set special. The more interesting part of the box set is the inclusion of an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by Eiji Aonuma and a laser etched metallic bookmark with a protective cover. The Legend of Zelda box set is available for preorder over on Amazon for $152.99, which is $27 off retail price and is set to release in November.

Our friends over at Radio Hyrule have launched their new Radio Hyrule iOS App for all those who always wanted to take their lovely music stream with them on the go or simply use it on their phone. The app is available on the iTunes store for $0.99, which helps fund future app development.

Radio Hyrule has been on the web for many years and various people have asked for the app and now they got it. Some features include: track info, wireless Air Play streaming, quality selection, stream continues in background mode, and various others. Check out the official page for more information.
