Kelly R. Rasmussen, ABD, ENP

Kelly has been with the 9-1-1 industry since 1986. She rose through the ranks from Dispatcher to Director and is now an International Speaker. She is the author of 9-1-1, Who Will Answer Your Call? and Women in Public Safety Leadership: Ten Tips to Get to the Top. Her motivational CD 9-1-1 Matters and her books are all available on Amazon.com.

She is a member of the 9-1-1 organizations APCO and NENA and is a certified Emergency Number Professional. She is also a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). She held the Michigan Chapter NENA Vice-President seat for over 3 years and she has successfully facilitated and led the consolidation of 3 Public Safety Answering Points into one central dispatch center. She is sought out by organizations who request interventions and assessments to improve their departments from the inside out and is recruited as the 9-1-1 expert by schools and others to answer questions and offer insights about the future of 9-1-1. 

Kelly has appeared on CNN and MSNBC with her company featured by Inside Business. She has shared the stage with Ray Parker, Jr., Glenn Morshower (of television shows 24 and West Wing) and Brian Tracy.

Michelle Rasmussen holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with professional expertise in contract negotiations having been a Michigan Realtor for nearly a decade. She is an accomplished entrepreneur having started her own highly acclaimed company, Success Communications, Inc., in 2006 as well as several other companies.

Michelle is driven to succeed by always putting the customer first. She maintains the company's quality assurance by holding all employees to the highest customer standard.

Michelle believes in having a mission, goals, and a plan to successfully accomplish those goals, utilizing the strengths of everyone on the team.


  


Pamela Battinkoff
Certified Instructor













Pamela Battinkoff has been with Shiawassee County Central Dispatch since 1994 and has steadily risen through the ranks to her position of Supervisor. Pam holds her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and is continually striving to learn and achieve more in her industry. She is currently working her way towards achieving her ENP status.

Pam joined Success in 2011 after achieving her certification from the 40-Hour Instructor Certification Course taught by our CEO Kelly R. Rasmussen.


 



John Bawol, ENP

John began his 9-1-1 career in 1997 as a Dispatcher with Roscommon County in Michigan. He worked his way up through the ranks to 9-1-1 Director/Emergency Manager, progressively leading Roscommon County with technological advances and innovative ideas including the creation of their brand new dispatch center.

John has served as President of the Michigan Communication Directors Association (MCDA), President of Michigan APCO, President of the 7th District Emergency Managers Association, and Chairman of the Region 7 Homeland Security Planning Board. He was the Michigan APCO 9-1-1 Director of the year in 2006. John served as a member of the State 9-1-1 Committee as the Michigan House of Representatives Appointee, serving as the Chair of the Certification Subcommittee and a member for the Training Subcommittee.

He joined Success Communications, Inc. full time in 2008 in order to follow his passion and continue to give back the the 9-1-1 industry.






Brad Rasmussen

Brad left his role at Muskegon Community College to become a Support Technician with Success Communications, Inc. in 2008. Brad has traveled all across Michigan, Ontario, Texas, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, and other places representing Success and supporting our team of instructors.

In 2009 Brad was promoted to Operations Coordinator and now oversees the team of Support Technicians and facilitates their training, travel, and learning opportunities within the company.
