Anyone who reads Scribes Of Metal on a regular basis will know that we have a liking for power metal and here's a new piece of power metal news to keep up with that theme. This is a video that has been out for a little while now but we wanted to bring it to the attention of our readers; Kamelot's first single with new vocalist Tommy Karevik on board is, in the view of those at Scribes towers, a very promising start. Entitled "Sacrimony" (Angel Of Afterlife), it features guest performances from Amaranthe singer Elize Ryd and Alissa White-Gluz, vocalist from The Agonist. Kamelot's new album, entitled Silverthorn was released recently through their longtime home Steamhammer/SPV. The band have just completed their first tour in support of the album, a European headlining tour with Xandria, Triospheres and Blackguard.
