Stream Earl Sweatshirt's New Album, Doris

Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt will release his new LP, Doris, on August 20 through his own Tan Cressida imprint on Columbia Records. He's let go several tracks already-- "Chum", "Guild", "Whoa", "Hive", "Burgundy"-- and today Earl shared the entire thing via the Odd Future Tumblr. Stream it here. Doris features contributions from Frank Ocean, RZA, Tyler, the Creator, Mac Miller, and Domo Genesis, among others.

Miguel Arrested

Miguel, the R&B singer who released the excellent Kaleidoscope Dream last year, has been arrested in L.A. for drunk driving, TMZ reports. The DUI arrest was made this morning around 2:15 a.m.

Regardless, he and Killer Mike still managed to offer up one of the more sensible discussions on the verse we've heard so far.

Allen Lanier, founding member of classic American hard-rock act Blue Öyster Cult, passed away yesterday from complications related to the lung disease COPD, Billboard reports. He was 67.

Boards of Canada Catalogue Reissued by Warp Records

Warp will reissue the influential back catalogue from Boards of Canada on vinyl, following the release of the excellent new album Tomorrow's Harvest in June. It will be the first repress of these records in over five years.

Drake's latest, "Hold On We're Going Home", sounds like it could very well have been written by Blood Orange's Dev Hynes. Fittingly, Hynes recorded his own version of it last night "just for fun mate."

Video: These New Puritans: "Organ Eternal"

British art-rock act These New Puritans have shared another video to accompany their latest record, Field of Reeds, released in June of this year. The "Organ Eternal" clip pairs the drama of the song with natural images of trees and grass, aerial shots of the band performing, and a woman running in the distance for what sublimely feels like forever. It was directed by Willy Vanderperre.

Kim Deal, of the Breeders (and now formerly of Pixies), has been on a solo streak lately, with a series of 7" singles. She's shared her latest, titled "Are You Mine?", with the accompanying video below. It comes backed by the track "Wish I Was", out on 7" vinyl and digitally through her website. This follows "Walking With a Killer" and "Hot Shot".

If you're a fan of "The Office", you're probably familar with Ricky Gervais' character David Brent's guitar tutorial. Gervais recently released an original song as David Brent called "Slough", dedicated to the town in which "The Office" takes place, and inspired Toro Y Moi's Chaz Bundick to record his own version.
