Jack Collison and Mohamed Diame were in action for their countries in Wednesday's round of international friendlies.

Collison started for Wales as they drew 0-0 with the Republic of Ireland at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The 24-year-old midfielder was earning his 14th cap and played 82 minutes of the stalemate.

Diame, meanwhile, was with Senegal for their match against Zambia in Paris.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw, Senegal's Dame Ndoye levelling after eight minutes, following a second minute opener from Jacob Mulenga.
