Wildscreen's Initiatives

All of Wildscreen’s activities involve harnessing the very best of the world’s wildlife imagery and media to promote a greater understanding of the natural world.

Without wildlife films and photographs we would have little knowledge of the plants and animals that share our planet. This is especially true today, with more and more of us living in cities, disconnected from nature.

Films and photographs are an emotive, powerful and effective means of building environmental awareness, helping to ignite the very first spark of interest in natural history. We cannot properly value what we do not know, and with knowing comes caring, and with caring there is hope.

We spread our message through five inter-related programmes of activity, working with the world’s very best filmmakers and photographers, as well as educators and the public across the globe.
