I thought it was important to put my hand
up and run for the next election because I
didn't like the dysfunction and negativity I
was seeing
which has become part of our
present day parliament. I think it's better
to be constructive rather
than just
complain things should be different. The reality is Australia is one of the
best countries in the world but it hasn't
felt like that for a very
long time. More
than ever, we need different people
from different backgrounds and with
different perspectives contributing to the
debate about Australia's future.
If I am elected I will work extremely hard
on behalf of everyone in Kooyong and the
Australian people more generally. I want
to make Australia
a better place to live.
