From the rumor-mill, courtesy of our friends at Latino Review, who've broken many-a-story in the past. Although, no official confirmation of any of this from the actors themselves, the studio, or the director. In short, Latino Review is reporting exclusively that David Oyelowo and Michael B. Jordan (2 black actors who are having very good years, starring in 2 of 2013's most-talked about films) have both met with director JJ Abrams regarding roles in the upcoming Star Wars franchise reboot, although the website doesn't say what those specific roles might be that Abrams is considering the 2 actors for. You'll recall that it was last fall when Disney bought Lucasfilm for $4.1 billion and has announced its intent to make another trilogy (at least) of Star Wars films, with the first one (to be directed by JJ Abrams) set for release in 2015, and a new one every two to three years thereafter. On top of that, Disney later revealed that, in addition to at least 3 more films, fans should expect stand-alone films, and TV series, separate from the official Star Wars films, that will be based on Star Wars characters.
