Air China announced the launch of new service between Beijing and Montreal. The route is the first transpacific non-stop service between Asia and the Canadian city.
Flights will depart Beijing at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in Montreal at 1:50 p.m. local time. From Montreal, flights are scheduled to depart at 4:20 p.m. and arrive in Beijing at 6:00 p.m. the next day.

Boeing increased its forecast for commercial aircraft sales in China on Tuesday, saying it sees “strong growth” despite a slowing economy in what is currently the world’s second largest aviation market.
