as for recommendations i am in a complete electro and techno hole right now haha so most of my current favorites will be mostly electronic. i notice you like artists that venture out of that, if you like dead can dance you might like COIL, http://www.last.fm/music/Coil COIL formed after throbbing gristle broke up i really like them, check out the COIL album horse rotor vator if you like that you will like most of their stuff if you like aphex twin /boc you might also like plaid http://www.last.fm/music/Plaid they have sort of a boc type mood but with more dancy beats. check out the plaid album double figure

dont get me wrong i still really like campfire, i just prefer their other albums, geogaddi, TH and music has the right, there will probably be a new EP coming out see since thats pretty much their cycle, album EP, album EP, ...

my only problem with campfire was that it was a little too hippy for my tastes, its kind of like bibio.. now there is nothing wrong with that per se, but boc started out on skam records who are known for more electronic/idm style stuff. i thought tomorrows harvest was a return to that, however it was even better because its practically a movie soundtrack. have you ever heard the soundtrack to the movie Escape from New York? its very similiar in mood and sound, however TH is obviously boc whereas NY is carpenter. i feel like they are back on track

i liked the new boc as much as geogaddi and way better than campfire. they are reaching into john carpenter territory which i really like.

This is an interesting article about Morrissey's latino following. http://www.theguardian.com/film/2005/mar/25/popandrock And yes, I am one of those fans who has stood outside the Salford Lads Club to have my photo taken!!!

Yeah, I heard about this Hispanic following, I can't get my head around it but think it's great.

Thanks! Obviously I love all The Smiths albums (I don't think they released anything less than brilliant), but if I had to pick one it would be The Queen Is Dead, it's just perfect. Morrissey solo is harder, I go through phases but Ringleader of the Tormentors is an album I keep going back to because I love the drama of the production. The Smiths are big in the UK, in an alternative to the mainstream way, kind of bridging the gap. Like, they are very big, but not Beatles big. But definitely not cult. What are they in the States? I love Talking Heads too by the way.

Thanks you have great charts too. Just bought my first R.E.M. album (Out of Time) a couple of days ago, and I'm really enjoying it. What other album should I listen to? Sorry you had to miss this concert. I missed that show that came through Dallas a while back and I was glad I finally got to see them.
